PT with Kerry offers me exactly what I need when trying to workout - that little extra push! And the confidence of knowing that I'm doing the right exercises, avoiding injury. You learn when you work with her as she'll make sure you use proper form. When I work out with Kerry I know there's going to be banter but hard work to boot! She stops you from listening to that little negative voice which wants you to quit early, by encouraging you and helping you when you need an extra hand. Under Kerry's guidance I thave been able: to train for and complete a half marathon in 1hour 40 minutes (30 minutes faster than I aimed for); to progress safely up to a 4-day spilt 'bodybuilder' style workout which saw me gain over 4 lbs of muscle whilst dropping by over 2% body fat in just 2 months of training!; to develop my confidence to try new exercises and I've become a regular rock climber. After having been an irregular gym user and finding little or no improvement in my fitness and strength, I began regular training sessions with Kerry who provided me with training plans, nutritional information and 'fun' sessions (for 'fun' read 'tough')! The hard work was all worth it though - in just 3 months of training I lost 6 kgs of weight (1 stone 4 lbs) and dropped 3 and half % body fat whilst building visible muscle! Since then I have continued our weekly sessions, as I continue to see progression. Not only do I look and feel in the best shape ever, but I am able to manage prior ligament damage in my ankle and shoulder , see great improvements in my stamina when playing football, and can now run 10km (something I would never have thought possible before!). -- Steven from Pentwyn
